The Barbara J. Rom Award for Bankruptcy Excellence honors individuals who embody the legacy of Barbara J. Rom by demonstrating the highest standards of overall excellence, professionalism, civility, and service to both the bankruptcy bar and our community. Alongside this recognition, the program highlights the vital work of the Historical Society for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, which preserves and shares the remarkable history, landmark decisions, and traditions of our federal court.
